Deposit

Just like when renting a vehicle or a tool, the deposit is used to cover any material damage that may occur in the establishment. It can also be used in case of late departure, or if the keys have not been left when leaving for example.

It is fully refundable if no damage has been found and the rules of the establishment have been respected. 

No, it is a credit card imprint. This means that the amount is simply blocked on your account. This creates a "pending transaction". However, even if the amount is not debited, it is necessary to have it on the account so that it can be blocked there. 

The amount of the deposit is related to the value of the apartment, it is not related to the price of the night.

In the same way, when you rent a car for one day, you pay the same deposit as if you rent the car for a week. 

The security deposit is refunded:

Either automatically within 7 days.

Or manually on the day of your departure, upon request. At around 4pm on the day of your departure, you will receive an SMS including a link to request the release of the deposit.

We propose an autonomous check-in system. For this reason there is no inventory of fixtures at the entrance and therefore no inventory of fixtures at the exit.

When an incident is reported (breakage, cleaning rules not respected, smoking in the apartment...), we take pictures that we communicate to you. Then we apply the rate indicated in the rules of the house : rules.gregbnb.com

It is always possible to cancel a reservation, but the refund depends on the cancellation policy you chose when you made your reservation.If you have chosen refundable or exchangeable dates, then it will be possible to request a refund or change the dates of your stay.If you have chosen non-refundable dates, a cancellation will not result in a refund.

The deposit is mandatory and can only be made by credit card or Paypal, as indicated on the ad. This is an independent arrival. I am not on site and I do not have a reception, or offices where it would be possible to make a payment in person. 

On Booking.com :

The deposit is indicated on the ad and before making the payment. You can find it in the "Important - to read" section, right next to the arrival/departure times and cancellation conditions.
